What’s included?

For the very reasonable price of 750 THB, you can experience the 2 nicest beaches in Phuket and the most famous tourist attraction of all: the Big Buddha

The ticket price includes all entrance fees, transportation, lunch and a beer! Get your ass out of bed, white sand beaches are calling. 😍 While 750 baht sounds like a lot upfront for a tour, keep in mind that this includes the 200 baht entry into Paradise Beach. Unlike Patong Beach, which is walking distance from our hostels, it’s a serene atmosphere that’s well worth it.

Stop 1 – Karon Beach

When’s the last time you shotgunned a beer on the beach for breakfast? Karon Beach, also known as Hat Kanon, is one of the more popular beaches in Phuket (that isn’t overcrowded). While it gets a good reputation as an amazing spot to watch the sunset, it’s no match for Paradise Beach, where we end the tour. Regardless, it’s a romantic spot and well…you’ll just have to see it firsthand!

Stop 2 – Phuket Big Buddha

The Phuket Big Buddha is a gigantic megalith of white marble that glistens with each ray of sun that hits it. The short hike up to its base will have you excited in anticipation of seeing it up close. You might meet some monkey friends along the way and the base platform of the Big Buddha is truly next level. It’s one of the few places you can get a clear 360 degree view of Phuket, with a straight line of sight of Pha Nga Bay. You can also pay a small fee to put your name and a message on a tile to be added to the building housing the Buddhist monks next to the Big Buddha. It’s pretty cool being able to leave your mark on a famous monument without defacing it or carving a cheesy heart and initials into a tree like many unethical tourists do.

Stop 3 – Paradise Beach

As we mentioned earlier, the entrance fee into Paradise Beach is 200 baht. We include this in the tour price so you don’t have to worry about it! We’ve all been there – budgeting for a backpacking trip (with plenty of late nights drinking) is tough. While most beaches in Thailand don’t have entrance fees, this is an exception made for the sustainability of a world class beach. Shoutouts to the Tourism Board of Thailand for taking a stand because Paradise Beach is…paradise.
