#TreatYoSelf2018: Nail Salons in Bangkok for a Relaxing Mani / Pedi
Fashion is no small thing in Bangkok. It doesn’t stop at just clothing though, nail salons in Bangkok offer extra chic to your backpacking looks. Just glance through Instagram, Facebook or frankly, whichever social media you fancy and you’ll inevitably find some celebrity or nail salon flouting their goods. And they’re all god damn beautiful. The best thing about a manicure or pedicure whilst you’re backpacking is that little bit of luxury and glam amidst the endless beer pong, roughing it on shared night buses and eating with your hands.
Plus if you go for gel nails, they’ll last around a month, so you can enjoy your gorgeous new look for weeks to come. When in Bangkok, the cost is incredibly cheap and they have the absolute latest in styles and trends.
Sleep Salon & Spa
This one ticks two boxes. Great looking nails and naps. Head up to the third floor and you’ll quickly see a quirky looking salon which is completely themed around sleep. Take a relaxing seat in their comfortable seats, sit back and close your eyes. Doze off here and you won’t have any embarrassing moments at all, sleep is positively encouraged.
Hair washes, hair dying and also perms are available too. For absolute bliss, book a hair wash and head massage whilst in the sleep room. It’s a 30 minute wonder!

Indy Night Market Dao Khanong
This is something of a hidden gem. This is a real local’s market which has excellent shopping, eating and drinking options. These aren’t permanent salons and more like market stalls so be prepared to jump onto a plastic foldable chair but the cost is remarkably cheap with prices starting from 150 baht.

Location: Thanon Suk Sawat, Khwaeng Chom Thong, Khet Chom Thong, Krung Thep Maha Nakhon 10150
Huai Kwang Night Market
This is a classic Bangkok market that has been around for years. If you’re new to Thailand, we highly recommend it rather than some of the new hipster markets. The set-up is a traditional two-lane system with hundreds of shopping stalls and eateries. Right in the middle you’ll find a great little mall which has quite a few nail options. No appointments necessary. There’s even great wifi!
Hours of Operation: 10am to 10pm but much of the market is open 24 hours.
Location: Soi Pracha Rat Bamphen, Khwaeng Din Daeng, Din Daeng, Krung Thep Maha Nakhon 10400
Tips for Finding Nail Salons in Bangkok
You really won’t have to go far to find a great nail salon. These are our favorites but there are thousands of options around the country. The designs are endless, see if you can get something truly unique. The best we’ve seen? A different miniature beer on each nail!
