Krabi is a magical place, full of adventures just waiting to happen. If you’re not too hungover for a proper hike, climb the 1,000+ steps to the peak of the Tiger Cave Temple. There’s also an Instagram-famous hike up Dragon Crest Mountain, where you can get some extra badass photos sitting on the edge of a cliff! Bodega Krabi Cheat Sheet

Everything you need to know about traveling Krabi

  • Best time travelling in Krabi is between November and April after the monsoon
  • Health and hygiene - Do not consume the tap water
  • Motorbike Rental - Only rent if you know how to ride and always wear a helmet
  • White trucks will take you to krabi town and back to Ao Nang just for 80 baht
  • Look for mini taxi service counter at kbv airport for 150 bath one way

From/To Krabi Airport:
There is a shuttle bus travelling between Ao Nang and Krabi Airport which costs THB 150 per person. Alternatively, taxis can be found outside terminals and costs THB 500. Please tell the driver you wish to go to Ao Nang. The distancer between Ao Nang and Krabi Airport is 26 Km.

From / To Krabi Town government coach station: Local Song Taew buses can be caught outside the coach terminal which will take you to Ao Nang and cost around THB 100 per person. The trip takes around 45 minutes and is 17 km.

From Railway: Longtail boats can be caught from west beach that go straight to Aao Nang beach for THB 100. The last one leaves at 18:00. You can also catch a  long tail boat back to Ao Nang from Pranang beach and Tonsai beach as well but they do not run all year around. The boat ride takes about 30 minutes. Once at the beach, you can walk straight up the main road past the police station.

From Phi Phi passenger pier in Ao Nang: A free drop is provided by the boat company.

From Phi Phi passenger port in Krabi Town: Coming from Phi Phi islands, a drop off service is normally provided by the ferry operator for a charge of THB 100 per person.
