Coworking Spaces in Phuket: The Best WiFi in Phuket for Digital Nomads

The Best Coworking Spaces in Phuket to Sit Down and Get Shit Done

Live the digital nomad dream with these awesome co-working spaces in Phuket! While Phuket isn’t known as a digital nomad hotspot since nightlife in Phuket can be pricey, it still packs a punch. It doesn’t have a long list to sift through like coworking spaces in Chiang Mai, but each one is top notch. If you’re looking for comfortable, affordable co-working spaces in Phuket then you’ve come to the right place.

Where once Phuket was really only about getting drunk on Bangla Road, now there’s a new crop of cafes and co-work places springing up and a whole new crew in town. You can still go enjoy the bars and clubs of Soi Bangla at night obviously but by day you can get some serious work done too. Hustle up!

HATCH Coworking Space Phuket

HATCH is the big boy of coworking spaces in Phuket Town, offering a ton of comfortable desks with breakout spaces, couches, meeting rooms for hire and printers (for an extra charge) for paperwork runs. The meeting rooms are unusual for their size with the largest one being able to seat 35 people! The crowd here is quite arty, with a ton of graphic designers based here along the usual mix of start-ups and dropshippers. The wifi is fast as you’d expect and the onsite café is good if slightly pricey for Thailand, but HATCH members get free tea and coffee. Oh, and there’s a popcorn machine!

Address: 2/23 Dibuk Road, Talad Yai, Amphoe Muang Phuket, 8300

Cost: Daily hotdesk rate 250 baht ($8), Monthly desk rate 5700 baht ($180)

BAYACO

Located on the edge of Phuket Town, BAYACO is a locally-run coworking space with some flexible and affordable options. Whether you’re working on digital marketing as a freelancer or you’re working on that travel blog while touring Asia, it’s a great place to be. A desk here in the hotdesk area costs just 150 baht ($5) a day, and the meeting room options are impressive! A 4-person room starts from 100 baht an hour ($3) all the way up to a room that can hold up to 120 people for 1160 baht an hour ($36). This is the only place we’ve found in Phuket that can accommodate that many people. BAYACO also has sound and video recording equipment for hire, a Skype room, a lounge and chill-out zone and a ping pong table for some serious R&R! There’s free coffee onsite and you’re in the Central Festival building so there are plenty of food options nearby.

This coworking space is an easy stroll from either of our hostel locations and offers comfortable desks, universal plug sockets, uncapped wifi and super good aircon. The breakout areas are nice and the couches and bean-bags are a great place to unwind for a bit in the middle of a work day. There’s a café in the guesthouse underneath so you can easily grab some lunch and it’s only a few meters from Bangla so there’s always a beer on offer…

CocoWorking Space

CoCoWorking is a much smaller enterprise tucked into the second floor of the Cocoville Boutique Villas Resort. While this means you might not meet quite as many fellow digital nomads here, it does mean that the bullshit factor is considerably lower! The wifi is fast, the desks can be configured for sitting or standing, there’s free drinking water and an onsite café. A lot of people choose CocoWorking because it opens at 7am and is on Soi Ta-aid, aka ‘Fitness Street’, so it’s easy to mix desk work with some gym training whenever it suits. The monthly desk packages are also half the price of HATCH!

Address: 10/23 Spo Ta-aid, Tambon Chalong, Phuket

Cost: Daily hotdesk rate 200 baht ($6), Monthly desk rate 5700 baht ($94)

Hours of Operation: 7am – 11pm daily

These great coworking spaces in Phuket mean you’re spoiled for choice.

Gone are the days that you have to try and grind out a day’s work with your laptop on your knees in your hotel room. These days you can work hard in aircon luxury! Our only advice is to remember the age-old saying of work hard, play hard. You are in Phuket after all!
