High Park Koh Samui: The Island Water Park

High Park Koh Samui: pool, slides, beers! Need anything more? The island might not be well known for its wild water sport side but that’s where High Park Koh Samui steps in. Their own website claims it to be, “Adventure, sexy, fun, parties, world renowned guest DJs, chill, sun, views that take your breath away…” well…what more could you possibly want from a place?

We tend to visit High Park Koh Samui at least once a week, so be sure to ask the Bodega Koh Samui staff when we’re dropping by! Bodega guests get a discount on water slide passes, so it’s totally worth it!

How to Get to High Park Koh Samui

Once you’ve made it to Koh Samui chances are that you’ve headed for Chaweng. The town and the beach of the same name are the largest on the island and normally the first stop for most travelers! Plus that’s where the home of Bodega is… so obviously you’ll be heading that way.

Once you’ve settled in, slammed a few shotguns and met your new best friends you’ll want to explore. Getting to High Park is really straight forward. Heading inland from the beach, the park is set within the hills that rise behind the town. This location is what affords the incredible panoramic views. Even if that’s all that you’re after, it’s sure to deliver with flying colors. With a well stocked bar and an infinity pool, you’re sure to enjoy lounging around here all day. Especially with the unlimited free wifi available throughout.

The Water Slides of High Park

There’s no hiding that, for the thrill seekers among us, the slides are the main draw to visit High Park. There are two to choose from, one of which is 15m high and 31m long. The design of which launches you into flight at the end of the ramp with a 4m plunge pool to catch you. The other slide is similar but without the launch at the end.

Sure, this is Thailand, but safety is the primary concern of High Park and the life guards are always there watching over those enjoying the slides and pool.

High Park’s Amenities

There’ll come a time when all of that soaring through the air, swimming and lying around will get you feeling hungry. Thankfully, High Park has an excellent on site restaurant that delivers some great Thai and Western cuisine. If you’re after something lighter the fresh fruit and coconuts come highly recommended, and will leave you feeling truly tropical.

You can book your visit online, and it is well worth following their Facebook page in order to hear about their most recent discounts and promotions. You can book into the park for 650 baht which includes unlimited access to both the pool and the slides. For only 150 baht you can gain access and get one drink, but you won’t be able to use the slides.

If you’re lucky enough to be reading this as an expat or a local to Koh Samui then you’ll be able to get into High Park for completely free, including full access to the water slides. Now if that doesn’t make you want to jack it all in and move to Koh Samui full time then we don’t know what will! Just make sure you bring proof of ID!
