This eponymous gallery is run by the one and only Koko Aung, an enterprising painter from Myanmar specialising in a technique called Myanmar Knife painting. There are plenty of pieces to choose from at his stall in Lamai, but it’s the actual process that you’ll want to be around for. Koko is a master of his craft, turning what look like random streaks across the page into some seriously eye-catching souvenirs in under ten minutes. Buying a piece can cost as little as 100 baht, and you’ll be able to film the process. If you’re pressed for time and want a unique reminder of this beautiful island, Koko’s your man.
