Tew’s Barber Shop

Tew’s is something of a Bangkok institution. You don’t come here looking for state-of-the-art equipment or a modern refurb, but what it lacks in modern design it makes up for in service and attention to detail. The chairs are still the same as when they first opened their doors many years ago, and the stacks of imported grooming products heaped around the place give it a rough and ready but functional appeal. The staff are friendly and the prices are reasonable, with a basic cut costing 600 baht ($19) and a hot towel shave costing 400 baht ($13).
